A female mail carrier sustained serious Michigan Dog Bite Injuries after becoming the victim of a canine attack last week. Records show the incident happened at approximately 4 p.m. on July 15, at a residence located on Missouri Avenue in the town of Flint, Michigan.

Three People Suffer Michigan Dog Bite Injuries in Recent Attack

Three people are recovering after suffering Michigan Dog Bite Injuries earlier this week during an attack by a family member’s canine. Reports indicate the attack occurred Sunday, just before 10:15 p.m., at a residence located on Hickory Lane in Waterford Township, Michigan.

According to an article published by The Oakland Press, the animal attacked a 62-year-old man, along with a 21- and 58-year-old woman. All three sustained serious wounds to their arms and were transported to a local hospital for further treatment. When asked what may have provoked the attack, the dog’s owner stated he did not know.

Royal Oak Focusing on Licensing Compliance to Reduce Dog Bite Dangers

Officials in Royal Oak, Michigan, have found that unlicensed canines are involved in half of all Michigan Dog Bite incidents in the city. In an effort to reduce this number, animal control officers will be going door to door beginning next Monday to ensure each household’s pets are in compliance with pet licensing requirements.
