Michigan State passed a law that protects homeowners who injure intruders using deadly force. Our homes should be a safe haven, the one place where our minds are allowed to be peaceful and void of all worry. 16-Year-Old Driver Backs Over Woman and Child In Parking Lot

Accidents happen when least expected.  Most of us understand that being a defensive driver is a good idea while on the roads, but we forget defensive behavior is a good idea at all times.  It is important to be aware of the actions of others even when not driving a vehicle.

Recently, a 36-year-old woman and a 2-year-old child were seriously injured when an inexperienced driver backed over them in a parking lot near 23 Mile and Schoenherr Roads in Snelby Township.  The woman and child were passing behind the vehicle at the time of the accident.

Two Separate Accidents on U.S. 23 in Less than 24 Hours leave One Dead and Two Injured

A two-vehicle accident that closed down U.S. 23 at Six Mile Road on April 9th leaves one person dead and another injured.  This was the second of two serious crashes that happened on that stretch of U.S. 23 in less than a 24 hour period.

Random Shots Fired Into Two Homes While Occupants Were Sleeping

Our own home is a place where we have become accustom to feeling a sense of safety. An unexpected act of violence, or even the threat of violence, can shake us to the core and make us anxious and fearful of places where we would normally seek refuge.  It is especially traumatic when the violence takes place in our own home.

Recently, in Flint Michigan two homes were struck by stray bullets while the family was sleeping.  In each instance, three bullets were randomly shot into the dwellings in the middle of the night.
