A 33-year-old officer with the New Baltimore Police Department was killed earlier this week in a Michigan Car Accident. Reports indicate the crash occurred on the night of Sunday, June 2, along Jefferson Avenue in Chesterfield Township.

Drunk driving is a major problem in Michigan. The Century Council estimates that, in 2011, a total of 255 people died as a result of Michigan Car Accidents caused by drunk drivers.

Some Michigan residents are speaking out against measures being considered by state legislators that could cap the amount of damages an individual can receive for Michigan Car Accident Injuries through the state’s no-fault insurance program.

A teen was killed and three other motorists were left with serious injuries following a Detroit Car Accident last week. Reports indicate the crash happened at approximately 3:20 p.m. last Monday, May 13, near the corner of Michigan Avenue and American Drive in the suburb of Dearborn.

Study Shows Increase in Michigan Car Accidents Caused by Distracted Driving

A recent examination of reports filed in relation with Michigan Car Accidents shows there is an increase in the number of collisions caused by distracted driving. What is interesting, though, is that the cause of distraction may not always be cellphone use.
